here’s the skinny:
here are answers to a few questions you might have:
a) does this narrative need to be a true story or can it be a fictional account of what might have happened at the library? i am asking for a true story. but i am also asking for a memory. and the fictionalizing of memory is inevitable. and so i don’t feel i can entirely give you a direct answer. i want a true story. but any story you tell me will be true to me. what do you want?
b) what is the minimum and maximum length(words/pages) of the narrative? there is no minimum. the max should be the size of the page in trade paperback form of the book in question.
c) in terms of style, prose or non-prose? prose.
d) linear or non-linear narrative? at your discretion. i tend to lean towards a more non-linear style. but i am asking for a piece of writing so i am asking for your voice, your style.
